Craven Hunt Pony Club Show 2024

We were proud to help sponsor this event for Craven Hunt Pony Club Show at Sparsholt Equine. A huge well done to all the Craven Hunt Pony Club members who took part in the show, we hope you all had a great day! 

The Craven Hunt Pony Club based in West Berks is a small, friendly PC branch with around 60 members and is one of the oldest Pony Clubs, founded in 1930.

The show itself has several different disciplines for age of 4-25, who participate in a variety of activities including from Rallies, Competitions, Tests and Camp. The Pony Club is a unique youth equestrian organisation, providing the opportunity to participate in 9 different sports. At our Branch we focus on Dressage, Show Jumping, Eventing, Tetrathlon and Pony Racing. We also offer the opportunity to get involved in Polocrosse, Mounted Games, Polo and Endurance.

The Pony Club has been the starting point for a large majority of equestrian team members, equine professionals, and medal winners. Training is at the heart of The Pony Club, providing opportunities to build knowledge on improving equine welfare, rider safety and enabling Members to develop lifelong skills, alongside riding, and having fun!

Former members include Clare and Andrew Balding, Nicky Henderson, national pony racing champion Ned Curtis, Tina Fletcher and well known commentator and former show jumper Andy Austin. Many members go on to work in different aspects of racing and horsemanship – most recently including apprentice jockeys, vet students, assistant trainers, and working pupils at dressage and eventing yards.
